The difference is mainly that the rounded leg chairs are more adjustable for your pose and posture because the rocking movement allows the angle of the bench seat to automatically adjust to your preferred posture. The flat-leg benches generally have only one set angle. Some people find this more stabilising and comfortable, but others prefer the adjustability of the round-legs.
